“Congratulations to Helena Cruz, Project Manager of the Cinderella Project and a PhD student at the Surgery, Care, Outcomes, Personalization and Empowerment Lab, on being selected for the 3rd edition of Health Parliament Portugal (HPP)!
Chosen from more than 700 applicants, Helena is one of just 60 young professionals selected to take part in this unique initiative, which brings together the next generation of healthcare leaders to help shape the future of healthcare in Portugal.
Over the next six months, participants will work across six thematic committees to develop proposals addressing some of the most pressing healthcare challenges. The program includes in-person plenary sessions, study visits and collaborative discussions with members of Parliament, former Ministers of Health and leading healthcare experts, culminating in the presentation of policy recommendations.
Helena shared: ‘I’m truly honored to have the opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare in Portugal. I look forward to contributing my expertise to this important initiative, learning from others and exploring new ways to address the challenges facing our healthcare system.’
