Marcel van den Brink, President of City of Hope, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“City of Hope’s scientific leadership showed up strong at this year’s American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting. Our researchers presented 49 abstracts, spanning immunotherapy, precision medicine and emerging strategies across solid tumors and blood cancers.
Beyond the data itself, what stood out was the depth of engagement. City of Hope faculty also participated in national media interviews and meetings helping shape national conversations around where oncology is headed and how new discoveries can translate into better outcomes for patients.
ASCO 2026 reinforced that cancer care is moving toward more precise, earlier and less toxic approaches, and our teams are helping lead that shift. I’m grateful to our investigators, clinicians and collaborators who continue to turn discovery into real‑world impact.”
