Marc Van den Bulcke։ How AI Can Help Address Unmet Needs in Belgian Cancer Research

Marc Van den Bulcke, Head of service, Belgian Cancer Centre, Sciensano, shared on LinkedIn:

A new milestone for the Belgian Cancer Research Alliance (BeCRA), led by Sciensano!

Over the past few months, BeCRA has launched four new Task Forces to strengthen collaboration in cancer research across Belgium.

On 23 June, the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence held its kick-off meeting at Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, bringing together experts from across the country.

The meeting explored how AI can help address unmet needs in Belgian cancer research, while also providing an opportunity to discuss funding opportunities and define the next steps for the Task Force.

Following the launch of the Task Forces on Clinical Trial Platform Installation, Radioligand Therapies and Survivorsjip Research Cluster, this kick-off marks another important step in turning BeCRA’s collaborative ambitions into concrete action and strengthening connections across the Belgian cancer research community.”
