Exploring Immunotherapy Before Chemoradiotherapy in Unresectable Stage III Lung Cancer – Lung Cancer Europe

Lung Cancer Europe shared a post on X about a recent article by Mariano Provencio et al, published in Nature Communications:

“Another interesting study to end ’25 – a Spanish phase 2 trial explored starting immunotherapy before chemoradiotherapy in unresectable stage 3 Lung Cancer.

The discussion it’s sparked is important too. It reflects a shift in thinking, away from fixed labels and single treatment pathways, towards starting systemic treatment earlier and then deciding together what local treatment, if any, makes sense.”
