Lucjan Wyrwicz, Head of the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy at Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancer Congress (ESMO GI 2026) in Munich is coming to the end. I had a pleasure to run a session on treatment of locally advanced pancreatic cancer with Thomas J. Ettrich and Sébastien Gaujoux (thank you Novocure for supporting all the logistics).
We had possibility to report new scientific data on treatment of gastric cancer, including the results of our prospective randomized study run at Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology on prolonged nutrition in order to limit postoperative morbidity after gastrectomy (PROMIGA study; prolonged nutrition via microjejunostomy cuts all toxicities of adjuvant therapy by half!).
See you next year at ESMO GI!”
