“Over the last 12 years, the Radiation Oncology: Targeting Cancer campaign has sought to educate patients, carers, clinicians and communities about the vital role of Radiotherapy in the management of cancer. The difficulty now, in the current age of algorithms and paid webpage advertising is how to ensure that message gets to those who need to hear it most.
We know education is one of the key ways we can ensure that all patients who would benefit from radiotherapy have timely and appropriate access to it, so we continue to spread the message in every way we can.
This year, ahead of World Radiotherapy Day we ask you to join the campaign and spread the message that Radiation Therapy is a safe and effective treatment for cancer!
