“My dear friends,
I know this firsthand.
It is a life experience.
After 48 years in medicine, I have repeatedly seen it in practice:
No medication, no hospital, no doctor, and no ‘revolutionary’ method can approach – or even come close to – the enormous effectiveness that prevention can have, at minimal cost and inestimable benefit.
Precisely for this reason, as doctors in Cyprus, we wanted to become more effective.
We created the Information and Education Team with the Cyprus Medical Association, the Cyprus Pediatric Society, the Medical School of the University of Nicosia, and AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association).
Since 2022, we have been systematically active, with consistency and scientific documentation, in Cyprus and abroad.
Through numerous seminars, lectures, educational videos, and public events – from schools, through the ‘Teachers and Doctors Together for Children’ programme, to international actions – we have shown that a small country can offer work on a par with large and powerful states.
In today’s era, technology and the democratization of knowledge allow us to offer meaningful, beneficial work in every corner of the earth.
And we will continue.
We will support any action that contributes to prevention, early diagnosis, the correct use of medicines and compliance with medical instructions.
The recent lecture in Pera Chorio – Nisou on
‘Thoughts that build health or bring illness’
It was a special experience for me.
After my introductory presentation, a meaningful and deeply human dialogue followed.
Exchange of opinions, experiences, and wisdom.
Because every time I speak at lectures or seminars, I learn a lot too.
From people who offer a priceless treasure, their own unique knowledge of life.
It was a really valuable experience.
