Lisa A. Lacasse: U.S. House Passes Year-End Spending Bill Supporting Cancer Priorities

Lisa A. Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Big news: Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the year-end spending bill that supports our cancer priorities.

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) thanks lawmakers for making this bipartisan commitment to ensure cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families can benefit from the latest breakthroughs in CancerResearch and prevention, expanded access to early detection through the MCEDAct, and new treatments to improve outcomes and save more lives.

We now look to the Senate to pass this package and make sure cancer remains a national priority.

Take action.”
