“Dr. Bogdan Czerniak, Professor of Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Nathan W. Lassiter Distinguished Chair in Urology, just delivered an illuminating inaugural Koss Medal Award Lecture, “The Mystery of Cancer Initiation: Lessons from Bladder Carcinogenesis.” It was a truly outstanding presentation- thought provoking, insightful, and inspiring.
Dr. Czerniak, the 2024 recipient of the International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP) Koss Medal Award, has had a distinguished career as a physician-scientist.
