Liam Ghiam, Clinical Associate in the UCI Health, Integrative and Functional Medicine Fellow at the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, shared on LinkedIn:
“This Saturday, I will be speaking in Irvine about Modern Breast and Prostate Cancer Care.
As we recognize Prostate Cancer Awareness Month this September, and approach Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, it is a good time to talk about how much cancer care has evolved.
We’ll discuss how increasingly precise and convenient radiation treatments can be combined with exercise, nutrition, and other lifestyle strategies to support long-term health.
I will be joined by my UCI Health colleague Mona Mojtahedzadeh, who will discuss the psychological, cultural, and emotional dimensions of the cancer journey.
Saturday, September 12 / 10 AM – 1 PM
NIPOC / Irvine, California
For my primary care colleagues, nurse practitioners, and PAs across Orange County, I would especially love to have you join us and be part of the conversation.”
