Les Biller Spotlights the Importance of Supportive Cancer Care in National Initiative

Les Biller, Founding Director at The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Supportive Cancer Care helps patients and their caregivers navigate the emotional, physical, social, and financial aspects of the cancer journey alongside clinical care.

It also lowers costs to our health care system through steps like preventing emergency department visits and hospital re-admissions-all while expanding access to essential services. This is why many forward-thinking employers are embracing supportive cancer care as a compassionate and cost-effective benefit for their employees and their families.

As part of our work to expand access to this model of care, today we are launching ‘Support Is Care‘ – a new national awareness campaign to elevate patient and caregiver voices, and to spotlight the need to make Supportive Cancer Care the national standard of care in our country.

Learn more here about this effort, and how you can help amplify the message.”
