“Pleased to share our newly published article with Dr. Caroline Samaha Jabbour and her colleagues in Frontiers in Oncology, examining how compounded financial collapse and armed conflict have affected access to radiation therapy in Lebanon.
It was a privilege to contribute to this collaborative work exploring how cancer services adapt under prolonged systemic pressure, and what lessons can be drawn for building more resilient oncology systems in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
The findings reinforce the importance of workforce capacity, adaptive treatment approaches, and health-system preparedness in sustaining access to essential cancer care during crises.
