“Before the year ends, I want to share the highlight of my year: my fellowship at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO).
This journey has been truly life-changing, shaping me professionally and personally in ways I will carry forever.
I am deeply grateful to Prof. Nicola Fazio for his exceptional mentorship and the incredible opportunities he has entrusted me with. His guidance, encouragement, and constant pushing me to grow have truly inspired me to reach my full potential.
I would also thank Dr. Francesca Spada for her constant support, invaluable guidance, and generous time in teaching and helping me grow.
Thank you to all the consultants, attendings, and colleagues at the GI/NET department for creating such a warm, inspiring environment. You made every day meaningful and joyful.
I would also like to sincerely thank Cristina Cracas, our wonderful secretary, for her kindness, cooperation, and constant support that made everything smoother.
I’m also grateful to Dr. Andrea Vavasori and Dr. Karl Ameen for introducing me to brachytherapy and guiding me along the way with their generous teaching, guidance, and follow-up.
I am also deeply grateful to ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology and International Cancer Foundation (ICF) for giving me this amazing opportunity, to Affy Degbé for her help throughout the process, and to Emanuela Colautti for her thoughtful guidance and support.
This fellowship has been more than a professional milestone – it has been a transformative, unforgettable journey, and I will always cherish this chapter.
Excited and inspired, I am looking forward to the next adventure!”
