Laura Ortiz-Ravick: This Recognition Reaffirms Our Commitment to Families in Puerto Rico

Laura Ortiz-Ravick, Director of National Outreach and Health Equity Partnerships at Blood Cancer United, shared on LinkedIn:

“We are deeply honored and proud to have been recognized by the Puerto Rican Senate during a special ceremony in honor of Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Organized by BeHealth, our incredible media partner on the island, this event celebrated patient advocacy organizations dedicated to increasing access to care and support for families impacted by blood cancers. We are grateful for our ongoing collaboration with BeHealth to increase awareness of blood cancer and the services and resources we provide for patients and caregivers in Puerto Rico.

At Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society), this recognition reaffirms our steadfast commitment to walking alongside families in Puerto Rico with compassion, education, and resources that transform lives. We extend our heartfelt thanks to BeHealth and the Puerto Rican Senate for this meaningful honor.”
