Laura Michaud: Officially A “Retiree” After 33 Years At MD Anderson Cancer Center

Laura Michaud shared a post on LinkedIn:

“After nearly 33 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center, today I say goodbye – I am officially a ‘Retiree’.

It has been a wonderful and challenging journey and MD Anderson is a wonderful place to work. I am so grateful for the opportunities afforded to me over the years, both within their walls and throughout the profession of pharmacy. It has been a privilege and an honor to care for the many patients and their families who entrusted us with their cancer care. I’m proud of what we accomplished and the lives we positively impacted. I’ve learned so much along the way and feel lucky for the relationships and memories we built together.

A huge thanks to my colleagues, family and friends who have supported and encouraged me along the way. In this next chapter, I’m looking forward to the freedom to wake up every day and decide what I want to do, explore what I like and don’t like and learn who I am at my core, without my job or title to define me. Scary and exciting stuff!”
