Laura Esserman: Less Screening Is Safe In Lower-Risk Breast Cancer Groups

Laura Esserman, Principal Investigator at The WISDOM Study, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“There is concern that there isn’t enough attention to reducing the frequency of screening for those at lower risk in The WISDOM Study.

This will go a long way to helping reassure women that less screening is safe. That certainly was a big goal of the WISDOM study and will be an important part of WISOMD 2.0 now that we have this data.”
