Excited to Share Our New Publication in Lung Cancer!

Our article, “Broadening clinical trial inclusivity of patients with lung cancer and brain metastases utilizing the Graded Prognostic Assessment (GPA): A call to action,” is now available online.

Alongside my Duke colleagues, Dr. Trey Mullikin, Dr. Chris Lascola, Dr. Paul Sperduto, we outline a practical, evidence‑based framework to expand clinical trial eligibility for patients with active, untreated brain metastases—a group historically excluded from most studies despite representing a significant portion of the lung cancer population.

By modernizing eligibility criteria, we can ensure patients with brain metastases gain equitable access to promising therapies and that trial findings better reflect real‑world populations.”
