Laraib Khan, Resident Medical Officer at Cyberknife and Tomotherapy JPMC Karachi, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Reflecting on an incredible experience at ESTRO 2026 in Stockholm!
It was a privilege to co-chair a brachytherapy session with Christian Kirisits and engage with the latest clinical data alongside global experts. I also had the opportunity to take THE ESTRO STAGE and reunite with Agora people to discuss a topic I’m deeply passionate about: networking as a lifeline.
In an evolving field like ours, building a global support system isn’t just a luxury-it’s a clinical necessity.
Besides presenting my posters, it was lovely participating in the Early Career activities which provided a perfect reminder of the vibrant community we are building together.
The real highlight, however, was the extensive networking. I am so grateful for the colleagues I reconnected with and the new mentors and collaborators I met. These conversations are truly the thread that ties our global oncology community together.
Thank you to the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) and everyone who made this congress so memorable!”
