Kristina Lindemann: Survival Trends in Patients With Tubo-Ovarian Carcinoma in Germany

Kristina Lindemann, Head of the Gynecological Oncology Center at Oslo University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“It´s a pleasure to re-connect with my home country Germany 🇩🇪 also through research.

Inspired by our work in the Norwegian Cancer Registry, survival trends for patients with tubo-ovarian carcinoma in Germany were analysed.

There is still a high unmet neet, particularly for women with rare histologies (clear cell, mucinous, carcinosarcoma). The largest variety in excess mortality appears to be in the early post-diagnosis period.

Thanks to Renée Turzanski Fortner and Victoria Cooley for leading this work.”

Title: Ovarian cancer survival in Germany: a nationwide analysis by stage and histotype
