Knarik Arakelyan, Chief of Staff at OncoDaily, Managing Editor at CancerWorld, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I almost traded oncology for flowers.
No, really.
In December 2025, I had decided to leave healthcare communications.
After years in the field, I felt it was time for a completely different life. I had already fallen in love with the idea of opening a creative flower shop with a concept of my own. I was searching for the perfect location, meeting with people in the industry, and learning everything I could about building that dream.
Then life took an unexpected turn.
A conversation made me stop and ask myself a question I hadn’t considered before:
Was I ready to leave the field I loved or did I simply need a new place to grow?
I chose to stay.
I joined CancerWorld as Managing Editor.
Six months later, I was given the opportunity to lead OncoDaily TV.
And today, just eight months after joining the OncoDaily family, I’m incredibly honored to begin another chapter as Chief of Staff at OncoDaily.
Sometimes we think we need to change everything, when in reality, all we need is the right environment to rediscover why we started.
Looking back, I can’t help but smile.
My life could have been filled with bouquets, color palettes, and flower deliveries.
Instead, it’s filled with stories that matter, conversations that inspire, people who challenge me every day, and work that reminds me why I fell in love with healthcare in the first place.
Life has a funny way of rewriting the plans we think are final.
And sometimes, that’s the greatest gift of all.”
