“I am thrilled to share the legacy of groundbreaking leukemia research from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, which has earned a new international recognition.
Krzysztof Mrózek, a research scientist in Ohio State’s Division of Hematology and the Clara D. Bloomfield Center for Leukemia Outcomes Research, has been elected a Foreign Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the highest scientific honor bestowed by Poland.
This distinguished recognition reflects Dr. Mrózek’s outstanding career scientific achievements, his contributions to advancing leukemia research and his commitment to international scientific collaboration. Dr. Mrózek’s work has helped expand our understanding of the genetic and molecular factors that influence leukemia diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
