“Every day, decisions are made about eliminating cervical cancer; policies are written, budgets are allocated, priorities are set.
However , sometimes the voices of the very communities most affected are missing from these conversations.
What if communities didn’t just participate in advocacy, but produced the evidence that shapes those decisions?
Session 7 of the ACHAECHO explores how community-led monitoring and applied research can bridge this gap, turning lived experiences into data that drives accountability and policy change. From scorecards and surveys to testimonies, this session will unpack how evidence rooted in real lives can influence systems and shift outcomes.
Participants will gain practical skills in:
- Turning lived experiences into actionable evidence.
- Designing practical and effective monitoring tools.
- Collecting and analyzing data to influence policy decisions.
Topic: Community Led Monitoring and Applied Research for Policy Influence.
