“The African Cervical Health Alliance (ACHA) is convening a two-day high-level technical meeting on 28 & 29 Jan, bringing together senior government officials, CSOs, and private sector stakeholders from Kenya, Malawi, and Cameroon to review and validate the ACHA ASPIRE Cervical Health Scorecard before its piloting in the 3 countries.
The Scorecard is a civil society–led accountability tool designed to translate complex health data into actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to track national progress, identify system gaps, and strengthen evidence-based advocacy across the cervical cancer continuum of care.
The objective of the meeting is to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and tools required to effectively utilize the scorecard for advocacy and accountability in their respective countries, in alignment with the WHO 90-70-90 cervical cancer elimination targets.
Through technical orientation, indicator validation, and implementation planning, the meeting aims to strengthen country ownership and informed decision-making to accelerate cervical cancer elimination efforts across Africa.”
