Katy Beckermann: A New Article on Systematic Treatments for mHSPC

Katy Beckermann, Medical Director of GU Clinical Research at Tennessee Oncology, shared a post on X:

23 RCTs, 18,689 patients: no mHSPC triplet improves OS or PFS over ADT+ARPI in all-comers.

  • High-volume: docetaxel triplet benefit holds (HR 0.76)
  • Caveat: most controls were ADT+docetaxel, not ARPI
  • Safety not stat diff for severe AE

Why it matters: Volume selects benefit. Biomarkers are next.
