“What a moment and way to celebrate 5 years! I’ve had “see the Northern Lights” on my bucket list since I was diagnosed. I never could have imagined I’d get to experience this moment with two of my closest cancer friends while celebrating our 5-year cancer anniversaries.
Two of us stage IV. All three with no active cancer.
It took 5 years for us to break out of the group chat and meet in one place, time we once didn’t think we’d have.
I still have a month to go before officially hitting 5 years, but this year marks 5 years for each of us. Words cannot describe my gratitude, not only for this moment, but also for these incredible women.
The perfect ending to the perfect day. We’re greatly missing the other half of our crew. Hopefully next year.
Two things I’ve learned over the past 5 years. These bonds are completely irreplaceable and bucket lists are meant to be expanded.”
