Kathleen Schmeler, Associate Vice President of Global Oncology and Gynecologic Oncologist at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“It was energizing to kick off AORTIC 2025 with a pre-cancer workshop focused on Integrated Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening and Early Detection Training hosted by our MD Anderson team in collaboration with the Tunisian Society of Oncological Surgery, Salah Azaïez Institute and the International Gynecologic Cancer Society.

I share my gratitude with our course faculty: Lamia Naija, Montassar Ghalleb, Ana Refinetti, Ellen Baker, Ricardina Rangeiro, Mila Pontremoli Salcedo, Paul Kamfwa, Toma Omofoye, Parisa Fallah, Chidinma Anakwenze, Jessica Milan, Lily Gutnik. Many thanks to all the participants for being a part of our session.

Our collective efforts toward training and capacity building are instrumental to advancing cancer detection and to improving outcomes for women around the world.”
