“With the August 31 application deadline approaching, I wanted to highlight Karolinska Institutet’s Assistant Professor Recruitment Programme, which includes up to 21 tenure-track positions across a broad range of disciplines in medicine and health. The programme offers generous start-up funding, a six-year tenure-track position, and an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers to establish an independent research programme at one of the world’s leading medical universities.
One position that may be of particular interest to this network is the Assistant Professor in Experimental Immuno-Oncology at the Department of Microbiology and Tumor Biology. The position seeks researchers working at the interface of immunology, tumor biology, and therapeutic development, with interests in areas such as immune cell engineering, synthetic immunology, tumor–immune interactions, and in vivo programming of immune responses. It offers the opportunity to contribute to a highly interdisciplinary research environment spanning immunology, gene and cell therapy, computational biology, and biotechnology.
Application deadline: August 31, 2026.”
