“In celebration of breast cancer awareness month, I want share my first RCT supported by a NIH career development K award. For women with breast cancer, acupuncture, both real and sham was more effective and durable than drugs in managing hot flashes.

This trial underscores the importance of human engagement and caring in helping survivors to feel better. As AI will play a major role in the future of cancer care, let’s not forget the human touch that is required for healing the body and mind.”
