Julia Silverstein, Senior Manager, External Communications at Fidelity Investments shared a post on LinkedIn:
”On August 1st and 2nd, I will be getting back on the bike to ride 162 miles in my second Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute pediatric brain tumor research, specifically the TJ Ragnoni Research Fund to Support Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytoma.
‘When things get hard, don’t slow down.’ – Willa
Our pedal partner, Willa, was diagnosed with a brain tumor at just six years old. She is now a teenager and a fierce, spirited (almost) high-schooler. Willa has endured multiple treatments at Dana-Farber and continues to inspire team Fidelity and Friends by persevering with an incredible spirit. The funds I raise go directly to find a cure for the type of tumor Willa has.
Together, we can get Closer By The Mile to a world without cancer.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal and directly impact the lives of many.”
