“Always So Much More to Do Together to Move the Field Forward”: Judith Lacey at the SIO–MASCC Symposium

Judith Lacey, Head of Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Finally sharing some pictures and a few words on our SIO-MASCC preconference symposium, titled “Shaping the future of Integrative Oncology in Supportive care through research and implementation” at The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).

MASCC26 starting too early at 7:30 am day 1 yet over 80 attendees despite a heap of parallel sessions!

Our final panel brought up so many ongoing research ideas – always so much more to do together to move the field forward!

This workshop was a planned continuum of our “pre-pre-conference” IO and wellbeing symposium the day prior with a further 140 attendees focusing on building a sustainable IO service! So we have been on fire! And people are interested!

Thank you to our superb presenters and Thank you to all attendees! The roadshow continues this Tuesday in Sydney Chris O’Brien Lifehouse but fully booked already! Our reach exceeding 340 people!

Big Thankyou to our Society for Integrative Oncology colleagues giving your time and energy.

Special Thankyou to Dorothy Keefe for your opening words at our meeting at Petermac and Professor Tracey O’Brien, AM for accepting the invitation to open our symposium at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse on Tuesday 30/6. Your support makes a big difference.”
