Judith Lacey: Exceptional 22nd SIO Conference at Harvard Medical School

Judith Lacey, Head of Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Yet another exceptional Society for Integrative Oncology – 22nd international conference held at Harvard Medical School. Wonderful people, we ran a successful workshop on the art and structure, approach to comprehensive integrative oncology consultation, spoke about integrating traditional Chinese medicine into cancer care, represented Australian IO at an excellent global session.

Our clinical practice group is thriving- so much to do…
At SIO we have an exceptional community of committed amazing people doing robust and exciting research and developing programs of care to improve the lives of people affected by cancer!

Can’t wait for the textbook launch – thanks to the efforts of 2 extraordinary editors, and a hell of a lot of authors and over 50 chapters – the textbook of integrative oncology is coming soon will be in high demand!

And finally, It was so great to have Alexandre Chan join us for the conference and Maryam Lustberg who made it today. A really good plenary session today on our growing The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) and SIO relationship. As well as collaboration of SIO with the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health!

Thanks to all the SIO family. I feel so lucky! Always makes the jet-lag worthwhile!”
