”Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for lung cancer research. Because of the breakthroughs, the clinical trials, the scientists who never stop pushing forward, and the advocates who fight every single day, I’m still here.
I’m here to love my family, celebrate milestones, uplift others, and live a life I once feared I wouldn’t get to see.
Research is the reason I and so many in my lung cancer community can continue to thrive. It gives us hope. It gives us options. It gives us more time.
But this work can’t continue without the funding that fuels it. We need continued support so researchers can keep discovering new treatments, improving survival, and giving people like me the chance to enjoy more birthdays, more hugs, more laughter, and more life.
I’m grateful for every advancement, and I’ll keep raising my voice for the research that keeps us going.”
