Joshua Pritchett, Oncologist at Mayo Clinic, Advisor at the Rural Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hard to believe it is finally in print. Thank you Springer Nature for featuring this work. I will share further about the findings and implications in future posts. But first, I need to say thank you.
This is the most comprehensive effort I have ever had the privelege to lead. The analysis alone has spanned several years, featuring real-world experiences and feedback from many thousands of cancer patients, and has led to collaborations across an array of disciplines where I have had the good fortune to learn from truly exceptional colleagues.
To Tufia Haddad, the most tenacious and patient mentor I could have ever hoped for, who has advocated for this work at every step. To Pravesh Sharma, I tell all my mentees that they should find a close collaborator from an entirely different discipline, worldview, and specialty in order to challenge and inspire true innovation – you have been this for me for some time now.
To my colleagues and co-authors Ming Huang, Ruchita Dholakia, Tabetha A. Brockman, James Moriarty, Celia Kamath, Hannah Ahn, Paul Decker, Ruoxiang Jiang, Jonathan Ticku, Nandita Khera, LaPrincess Brewe,r Jon Tilburt, Bijan Borah, Patten Christi. And most importantly to the patients and staff who care for them at Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System.”
