Joshua Budhu, Neuro-Oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What a whirlwind of a week!
Last Friday, I had the chance to give Grand Rounds at Columbia University Irving Medical Center Neurology on financial toxicity in neurology and oncology. Then off to the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting, where I spoke on the financial determinants of brain health and co-directed the Social Determinants of Brain Health course with Altaf Saadi and Adys Mendizabal.
I also gave a talk on resilience in research at the Neurology Research Bootcamp, joined a panel for aspiring neuro-oncologists, represented Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine at the trainee and faculty reception, and spoke on inpatient neuro-oncology consultations.
Always great to connect with friends and colleagues and be reminded how strong and collaborative the neurology community is.”
