Jonathan Lim, Co-Lead of The Manchester Immuno-Oncology Network (MION) and Lead of The Christie International Fellowship Program for Medical Oncology at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today I received the news that I have been elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
It feels especially meaningful given that I completed my MRCP examinations during a strange and challenging period in my life and career.
Being a physician is at the very centre of who I am as a clinical academic. I feel genuinely honoured to join the community of FRCP’s around the world, and I hope to play my small part in our shared effort to improve the health and lives of the patients and communities we serve.
Most of all, I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way – family, friends, supervisors, mentors, colleagues, and the patients who continue to teach and inspire me every day.”
