Jonathan Cohen, Director of Clinical Research at the Sharett Institute of Oncology of Hadassah Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“After a rewarding year of professional and scientific growth at The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute (TACRI) and Cedars-Sinai , I am preparing to return to Hadassah Medical Center to resume my role as Director of Oncology Clinical Research.
My sabbatical provided a rare opportunity to work across clinical-trial development, translational science, industry partnerships, and multidisciplinary research.
I am especially grateful to Omid Hamid for hosting me with generosity and trust, and for our shared commitment to advancing meaningful clinical research, and to Ze’ev Ronai for welcoming me into his scientific community. I am also deeply thankful to the many colleagues at TACRI and collaborators across Cedars-Sinai whose openness and collegiality made the year so productive.
Together, we advanced investigator-initiated trial concepts and translational projects spanning melanoma, immune-related toxicity, immune-mediated disease, and data-driven precision oncology. Several of these collaborations are ongoing, and I look forward to continuing to develop them across institutions.
I return to Hadassah with a broader network, a wider perspective, and a renewed commitment to building research programs that connect clinical-trial leadership, laboratory discovery, and patient care.”
