Jonah Rosas, Cancer Research Institute Irvington Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“It is a great privilege to announce I have been selected as a 2026 CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellow!
I am thankful for the incredible scientific community here at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the many colleagues and friends who entertain my countless musings on macrophages.
This project is a culmination of my scientific upbringing from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and UC Santa Barbara to now, weaving scientific principles I picked up from each mentor I trained under.
My work aims to better understand how macrophages interpret the physical properties of their environment, select permissive migration routes, and even co-opt cell-cell adhesion programs to ease entry.
A full summary on my proposal is linked below.
I look forward to joining the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) community as a collaborative and curious scientist.”
