“Variation from best evidence is probably one of the most difficult things to understand in healthcare. There are many good (and bad) reasons people don’t go to NCI-Centers, but the evidence-based care discussed in this article is neither exclusive to NCI Centers nor is it applied universally at those centers.

It’s not reasonable to expect patients to be able to sort through their choices to get the best outcome in this environment.”
