“I am deeply saddened to share the news that one of my amazing mentors and colleagues has passed away at the age of 67. John Backus was a great friend, leader, business person, dad, and so much more.
John survived two cancers, started numerous companies, raised three incredible children and was an all around amazing mentor, and man. Please see attached statement from the Colorectal Cancer Alliance where John served as board chair for 3 years. RIP my friend.”
