Quoting the post by the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer:
“We’re honored to have been selected as a 2025 recipient of funding through AstraZeneca’s US ACT on Health Equity: National Strategic Collaborations.
This funding will pilot an innovative, community-engaged lung cancer screening initiative led by GO2 in partnership with healthcare systems across the Seattle and greater Puget Sound region.
The program integrates restorative justice practices into shared decision-making, centering trust-building, dialogue, and culturally responsive education to address medical mistrust and structural inequities for Black community members.
We’re proud to continue to advance more equitable approaches to early lung cancer detection—work that will inform scalable models nationwide.”
