Jemma Arakelyan, Chief Executive Officer at The Institute of Cancer and Crisis (ICC) and Medical Advisor at Immune Oncology Research Institute, shared a post by BPDCN International Registry on LinkedIn, adding:
“Dear oncology-hematology colleagues, one of the first projects at the Immune Oncology Research Institute was to set up the BPDCN registry. I encourage you to read this paper, which shares early data from 36 patients treated at 16 centers in 12 countries. Given that blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare and aggressive disease, international collaboration is essential.
A warm welcome to additional physicians and centers managing BPDCN to join our registry. Even one or a few cases per center can make a meaningful contribution to future analyses, shared learning, and improved patient outcomes.
If your center treats BPDCN and you are interested in participating, you can contact our BPDCN registry coordinator, Gayane Davtyan, or the BPDCN research lead, Davit Melkonyan, directly.”
Quoting BPDCN International Registry‘s post:
“Rare diseases move forward through collaboration. The BPDCN International Registry was created as a global, multicenter effort to collect retrospective and prospective real-world data on patients with BPDCN and help close major evidence gaps in diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.
Our recent publication reports early registry data from 36 patients across 16 centers in 12 countries, highlighting how international collaboration can strengthen the evidence base in this rare and aggressive malignancy.
Additional physicians and centers managing BPDCN cases are warmly welcome to join the registry. Even a small number of cases can make a meaningful contribution to future analyses, shared learning, and more standardized approaches to care.
If your center treats BPDCN and may be interested in participating, please feel free to reach out.”
