Jeannys Flamine, Clinical Research PhD candidate, Physician at Mount Sinai Health System, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am excited to share that I will be conducting another 5-session workshop promoting self-care in family caregivers at the Church of the Good Shepherd in New York.
From September 27th to October 25th, join me on Saturdays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
I will cover the following topics:
- Emotional wellbeing – 09/27
- Healthy Nutrition – 10/04
- Physical Activity – 10/11
- Smoking Cessation – 10/18
- Spiritual Support – 10/25
This is the second workshop shared in the community. Galvanized by the positive feedback received in the previous one, I am once more honored and excited to share what I have learned with a community that I hold so dear.
I want to thank my mentors: Dr. Ksenia Gorbenko, Dr. Jamilia Sly, Dr. Allison J. Applebaum, and Rev. Dr. Zorina Costello.
And, my very dear friend Amy Wilson for giving me a layman perspective and Father Georges Sears for opening the door of his parish.
If you are a family caregiver or know someone who might benefit, please scan the QR code to join us on September 27th.
Looking forward to seeing you there!”
