Jason Efstathiou: Celebrating World Conference on Genitourinary Cancers 2025

Jason Efstathiou, Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School, shared a post on X:

“Celebrating World GU25.

Honored to take the stage at the World Conference on Genitourinary Cancers recently in Nashville! It was an incredible setting at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and a privilege to contribute alongside so many leaders in the field. A highlight for me was hearing Olympian high jumper Chaunté Lowe share her inspiring story of beating cancer, a reminder of the resilience and dedication that drives us all.

Big congratulations to Alicia Morgans, and Dan George, and the entire IDEOlogy Health team for hosting such a successful meeting. And thanks to the dynamic Mark Pomerantz for hosting GU Pardy and congratulations to Team Bladder who won the World GU-Pardy finale, securing a $2,500 donation to BCAN in support of bladder cancer research and advocacy!

The program was highly educational and insightful. It was the perfect balance of learning, collaboration, fun, and community. I’m already looking forward to next year!”
