Janeen Azare, Oncology Senior Field Medical Director at Pfizer, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As the AACR Annual Meeting concludes, I am honored to have attended and participated in this year’s event. I would like to share a few highlights from the meeting:
- Oncology Pipeline Advancements: During AACR26, Pfizer shared new data across our oncology pipeline, demonstrating how we are advancing novel targets and next-generation biologics to shape the future of targeted cancer therapies.
- Trailblazer Cancer Research Grants: Pfizer and the American Association for Cancer Research named 15 scientists as inaugural recipients of the Trailblazer Cancer Research Grants. Each researcher will receive $1 million over three years to pursue ambitious science, ranging from treatment resistance biology and cellular therapy to closing gaps in patient care.
- 30-Year Celebration of the AACR Associate Member Council (AMC): I was recognized as an AMC alumna during this celebration, which honored past members and highlighted the lasting impact of our leadership and service on the early-career community.
- Professional Development: I participated in two AACR Professional Development Series sessions, serving as a panelist and as a mentor alongside my Pfizer colleague, Thomas Paul, and over 20 other mentors.”
