”I am unbelievably proud to say that yesterday I graduated from the University of Portsmouth of Portsmouth, with a Bachelors of Science (with honors) in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and honestly it has been an incredibly beautiful 3 years.
I was surrounded by the people I love and those who have supported me throughout that time which I am eternally grateful for.
This experience has been one of growth, determination, and trying new things. Working as Raising and Giving Secretary for our Pole Dancing Society was an experience like no other. It allowed me to not only grow as a person and develop my skills, but I met some of the most incredibly talented and kind people.
As a society we achieved so much. We hosted a number of charity events this year, including our annual collaborative Strictly Come Pole, as well as our annual showcase Cabaret, which raised £334 for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). This role was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
People do say that the time flies by, which I thought was just a saying, but it is true. I look forward to the next chapter, but I will always look back at my time at university with the utmost gratitude and love.”
