“Tuesday Reflection: The Picture on the Puzzle Box.
This weekend, my 12y old son and I were working on a 5,000-piece Pokémon puzzle, and I must have looked at the picture on the box a hundred times! Today, as I was preparing my presentation for the EUROPA DONNA – The European Breast Cancer Coalition Conference, my mind went back to that simple act of constantly referring to the picture on the puzzle box.
Because at City Cancer Challenge (C/Can), we are also bringing together many different pieces to build stronger cancer care systems. And just like with any complex puzzle, we need a clear picture to guide us. That picture should be the patients and their families. They are the reason every piece matters.
