“Pausing, reflecting, and a perfect start to vacation.
There is no better way to kick off a well-deserved break than by intentionally slowing down. Today marks the first day of my holiday, and I’m dedicating this time to what matters most: pausing, reflecting, and feeding the mind.
I started today with the perfect early birthday gift, a new Kindle and a book that has been at the top of my wishlist: ‘The Care Factor.’
I just finished the first chapter, and it’s already hitting home.
‘The true test of leadership is not achieving results in your presence but ensuring they continue in your absence. This is why care for results is never about lowering the bar – it is about lifting the meaning of the bar.’
What makes this read even more special is that it’s written by Hakan Johansson. Knowing him personally, reading his words feels less like a traditional business book and more like a masterclass in true leadership. It’s a powerful, inspiring reminder to always lead with care, for our teams, our mission, and ourselves.
Chapter one is done, and I’m eagerly diving into the next.
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead, and remember to find time to pause and reflect.”
