Marija Bálíc is a medical oncologist and researcher specializing in breast cancer, with a strong focus on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and its clinical application. Her work explores the use of liquid biopsy to better understand treatment response and resistance, with the goal of enabling more personalized therapies and improving patient monitoring. Based at the University of Pittsburgh, she combines clinical and research expertise in oncology, molecular biology, and epidemiology, bringing a well-rounded perspective that bridges scientific innovation and clinical practice.
