“The wait is over: the global liver cancer community convened in Brussels yesterday for the start of ILCA26 and celebrate together 20 years of the ILCA community.
ILCA President Prof. Stephen Lam Chan opened the conference, welcoming delegates and explicitly recognizing the contributions and presence of past ILCA leaders who helped shape the society.
Yesterday’s scientific programme addressed key challenges in HCC management, spanning translational science in ‘Bench to Bedside‘ and regional research perspectives presented by Prof. Jian Zhou on the Asian experience.
Cross-regional dialogue was further expanded through a joint surgical therapy session with the KLCA.
Delegates also spent time exploring the dedicated Poster Hall, which features over 138 posters from teams worldwide.
