Our expert speakers brought clarity, depth, and urgency to one of the most aggressive forms of skin cancer:
- Malignant melanoma affects people of All skin types – not just fair-skinned individuals. Awareness across diverse populations is critical.
- Early recognition is everything. Changes in the size, shape, color, or appearance of a skin lesion should Never be ignored.
- Timely diagnosis dramatically improves survival outcomes. The window between suspicion and biopsy matters.
- Healthcare professionals must maintain a High index of suspicion and strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration — from dermatology to pathology.
- Public education, routine skin examinations, and prompt medical consultation are the pillars of early detection.
